Today is the anniversary of death of Gottlob Harrer. I decided to make a modern score of his HarWV 45. Here's the link to the preliminary version of the score: https://www.dropbox.com/s/clpb82qilowyk4g/Master.pdf?dl=0

Please, I welcome any comments. Especially about the figured bass which I provided myself. I will wait for a few days before I post this to the IMSLP...

I don't have any critical comments, but it looks like great work Elwro. A nice potential piece to perform, perhaps at the start of a 'Vespers' programme? Is that the context in which it is found, or is it for a Lutheran service? Where can the original document source be found?

Gottlob Harrer deserves more recognition and recordings, which are scant.

Thanks! I hope we can perform it and possibly record it in Krakow in Autumn or later.

As for the document, go here: https://opac.rism.info/metaopac/singleHit.do?methodToCall=showHit&curPos=3&identifier=251_SOLR_SERVER_416413741 and click 'online lesen'. Interesting questions about the context, I don't have anything to answer at this moment...

Wait, I've JUST realized that Harrer died on the very same day I was born. I'm not saying it's not a coincidence... ok, I'm saying it's not.

Elwro, I wish you luck with the recording!
