Default 8 Zelenka concerts in Switzerland in September and December

Northern Switzerland is going to be digging to some of Zelenka's funkiest tunes later this year with no fewer than **eight** performances:

Miserere (ZWV 57) and Missa Votiva (ZWV 18) will be performed on 10, 11, 24 and 25 September at various venues by the Tablater Konzertchor along with the Cappricio Orchestra (famous for the 2012 premiere recording of the delightful Sollicitus fossor, ZWV 209) conducted by Ambros Ott
More details here: http://www.tablater.ch/zelenka.html (interesting portrait - is that him?!)

And just when it couldn't get better...

Four performances of Te Deum (ZWV 146) and Missa Purificationis (ZWV 16) at various venues along the Swiss-Austrian border on 15, 16, 17 and 18 December by Origen Vokalensemble
and Concerto Stella Matutina conducted by Clau Scherrer.

Details of the concert on 15 December here: http://www.stellamatutina.at/abo/pro...016/5-te-deum/. The other 3 concerts are going to be performed in the locomotive shed of the Rhätischen mountain railway (I AM NOT KIDDING!) in Landquart, but no ticket details yet (see here: http://www.stellamatutina.at/konzerte/aktuell/)

I just hope the roof of the train shed is well fixed because those two works could easily lift it....

Switzerland's going miles for Zelenka, it seems! Basel had concerts of various sorts this year too.

More details here: http://www.tablater.ch/zelenka.html (interesting portrait - is that him?!)
I've seen that used elsewhere too. If I recall correctly, when I searched up the image on Google it led me to the cover-page of a Czech book on Zelenka (!). Can't seem to locate that now... It's similar to the Fux-fake in that it looks like a modified version of another great composer, this time J.S.Bach!? As much as I am impressed at the lengths that Zelenkians would go to give a face to our Bohemian Master, it ain't right! (<- and I've always want to use that smiley)

A concert in a locomotive shed sounds lovely. In Krakow I went once to a concert in something which Google tells me is a 'rolling mill', a huge hall inside an unused factory quadrant. It was a smashing success.
