Default Te Deum ZWV 146 Live New Year's Day broadcast

Friends, we will now be able to rejoice and celebrate New Year's Day in some style. On 1 January the following concert will be broadcast live from Berlin:

    20.03 (19.03 GMT) DKultur (http://www.dradio.de/dkultur/)
Georg Friedrich Händel: "Dixit Dominus" g-Moll HWV 232
Jan Dismas Zelenka: Te Deum a due cori ZWV 146
Johann Sebastian Bach: Singet dem Herrn ein neues Lied, BWV 190
    Anna Lucia Richter, Sopran
    Letizia Scherrer, Sopran
    Wiebke Lehmkuhl, Alt
    Sebastian Kohlhepp, Tenor
    André Schuen, Bariton
    RIAS Kammerchor
    Akademie für Alte Musik Berlin
    Leitung: Hans-Christoph Rademann
    Live aus der Philharmonie Berlin

I am sure we all agree that it will be great to hear Maestro Rademann directing Zelenka's Te Deum of 1731 again, and now with the mighty forces of AKAMUS and RIAS. And Handel's Dixit Dominus is always such a thrilling piece so that will be exciting to hear. The festive New Year's cantata of the Lutheran Zelenka of Leipzig is also a very nice work.

I wish my fellow Zelenkians all over the world a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

    Johannes

Nice news, though I will be away from the internet, in Finland!

Loved the joke, though it took me a few moments XD

Merry Christmas & Happy New Year, indeed
