Even before Supraphon itself, Abeillemusique confirms that Musica Florea & Marek Stryncl's new Zelenka recording will be released early in October, containing the works from their December 2011 concert programme: http://www.abeillemusique.com/…Zelenka/cleart-64916.html. In other words we'll be given the world premiere of the horn version of "Missa nativitatis" ZWV 8, as well as an undoubtedly superior replacement of the older, deleted version of the horn motet for bass voice "Chvalte Boha silného" ZWV165, sung by Tomas Kral. The less known "Magnificat" setting ZWV 107, sung by Barbora Sojkova, gets its second-ever recording here. Finally the Xmas motet ZWV 171 is released for the very first time simultaneously with the CD-issue on Pan Classics mentioned above. It's going to be interesting to compare Potter's countertenor version with Marketa Cukrova's female alto version.
