Guys,

I'm working also on the single surviving work by Tobias Bu(t)z, the Mass written so that the sins of his youth would be forgotten ;). I'm now working on the figured bass to the Kyrie. But the rest of the (big!) movement is ready. It's a nice prelude & double fugue:

Does any French-speaker care to translate?

The gist of it as far as I can tell is that he dedicated this work to prove his worth to the Hofkapelle in the hope that the patronage would continue(?).

Alright, finished. The link in the first post now refers to the finished typeset Kyrie / Christe. Boy, that figured bass was painful.
