Welcome! I've listened to the Rademann recordings dozens of times and the music is simply wonderful, I couldn't understand why more hasn't been recorded.
I also found manuscript scans of some cantatas set in Italian, I'm not sure if they were recorded.
Be sure to check out the Archiv recording of Lamentationes Jeremiae prophetae!
And thank you very much for the info about the CD!

Kinda talking to myself here, but if anyone's on the fence, then this is really a nice and well-filmed performance

Oh my, this is a splendid CD, packed full with delightful stuff! Thanks for the notification!

Amazingly, you can listen to Angela Hewitt on the same day. I've been to two days of this festival; it has 'Chopin' in its name but is definitely more exploratory in nature. Great stuff.

Here's my edition of Harrer's 'Beatus vir': https://imslp.org/wiki/Beatus_vir_%28Harrer%2C_Gottlob%29
Given Harrer's connection to Zelenka, I think some of you guys might be interested in this work. It's a really nice piece, with numerous little fugues.
To be honest, this hasn't been properly proofread. It's 75 pages long... and this year I switched from Lilypond -- in which I had prepared this piece sans BC last year -- to Dorico, which is a professional music engraving suite, and which seems to make my hobby easier. So this holiday season I decided to finalize all my older Lilypond projects, and this is one of them. I hope it's interesting even in this state.
I can send parts to whomever expresses interest. (I really hope we will start practicing this in Krakow this autumn; I will have to prepare the parts anyway. And any mistakes on my part will of course be discovered then :-))

I was in the woods without internet, but I hope it was the stunning Stabat Mater setting published a few years ago on a Supraphon disc... that's a single piece which can make one a convert towards the composer!

Well, I downloaded 10+ pieces by Breunich to inspect and possibly edit. Of the complete ones, the Scapulis Suis and the two Salve Regina settings seem to be musically the most interesting (to me; I'm doing the SR too). However, the Miserere would seem to me to be a really fine discovery and, according to my inner ears, it could become a 'hit', if the niche we're interested in has anything like that :-); it's a shame there are parts missing in what's freely available online...
-
Well, as for Breunich, here's a sneak peek at one piece: https://ujchmura-my.sharepoint…BgdNzmCUaKDyRByA?e=x2MNdt
I plan to do more.
[His haunting Miserere seems to be missing some parts, unfortunately.]

This literally brought tears to my eyes. For years I so much wanted this to be performed...
I think that now we have no known 'top tier' Zelenka work without a first-class recording!
-
Thank you very much, Seb!
-
Thanks! I hope we can perform it and possibly record it in Krakow in Autumn or later.
As for the document, go here: https://opac.rism.info/metaopa…251_SOLR_SERVER_416413741 and click 'online lesen'. Interesting questions about the context, I don't have anything to answer at this moment...

Today is the anniversary of death of Gottlob Harrer. I decided to make a modern score of his HarWV 45. Here's the link to the preliminary version of the score: https://www.dropbox.com/s/clpb82qilowyk4g/Master.pdf?dl=0
Please, I welcome any comments. Especially about the figured bass which I provided myself. I will wait for a few days before I post this to the IMSLP...

Thank you very much for all the work!

THANK YOU! It seems the whole issue of that journal is devoted to essays in honout of J. Stockigt. I have only read the titles so far but it looks Zelenka enthusiasts might be interested in most if not all of them!

A very nice CD. Weirdly, I can get very good sound on headphones or small speakers, but my 'big system' needs volume to be cranked really high to properly reproduce it; must be due to the brass and the 'space' evident in the recording.
I really hope zwv 33 will be recorded by someone. I hope I'm not mistaken -- I'm talking about the Credo with a triple fugue on Et vitam venturi saeculi, for which Arnaud prepared a score years ago, and which somehow disappeared from the internet...

This goes right to the top of Zelenka recordings (if ties are allowed :-)) Great music, amazing sound. Highly recommended...

Awesome! Great work! Pleeease give me a few days to copy some ancient PMs I'm keeping stored!
I will try to figure out which recordings are missing and add them to the catalogue...
